USDFD & PATH COLLABORATE

by USDFD on January 14, 2012

Collaborate = working together to create a higher outcome.

For the first time after many years our two organizations have come together so the needs of both parties are served and respected. USDFD hosted a PATH Workshop / Certification Clinic on October 22-26, 2009. Tina Bennet, head PATH evaluator, mentioned that it was the largest gathering of participants in the history of PATH. I am attributing that success to the reputation of USDFD and the beautiful Gayla Driving Center facility. Debbie Banfield, President of USDFD and Manager of the Gayla Driving Center, organized the activity and was also a guest speaker on several subjects along with her husband Dana. They were 15 in the workshop, seven individuals attended the certification, along with two Head NARHA Evaluators and two Learner Evaluators. The local Spokes and Spurs Driving club volunteered during the event and also offer the use of four more ponies. Many thanks to all that were involved. USDFD plans on hosting these activities for PATH on an annual basis. A big thank you to Gail Austin-Ellman for the use of her beautiful facility.
