Gayla welcomes our new Para Equestrian student Terinda Joy Bates from Ekron, KY. Terinda is a devoted lover of horses and a competent Dressage rider. Due to unfortunate health reasons and riding no longer an option, Terinda is now exploring the competitive world of Carriage Driving. I first met Terinda through our friend Windy Kilgore at the CAA Carriage Festival in late June and set up an evaluation session to determine the right carriage and best animal for her to use here at the Gayla. Terinda is currently looking for that special pony with experience that can take her up to a solid Preliminary Level CDE. Meanwhile she drives a mini near her home and our Dales pony “Rose” here at the center. We are really looking forward to helping Terinda accomplish her goals. Great job Terinda and see you next week!
